Magic: The Gathering features five colors of mana—White, Blue, Black, Red, and Green—each representing different philosophies and playstyles. Combining these colors creates unique strategies and deck archetypes.
This randomizer helps you explore all possible color combinations in MTG, from mono-color decks to five-color strategies. Each combination has a name from MTG lore: two-color combinations are named after the Ravnican guilds, three-color combinations follow either Shards of Alara or Khans of Tarkir wedges, and four-color combinations reference the Nephilim.
Click "Generate Color Combination" to get a random color identity for your next deck. Use the re-roll button (↻) to try another combination. Visit the options page to customize which color combinations you want to include in the randomization.
