About This Tool

Welcome to the Ingredient Prep Randomizer! This tool generates a weekly ingredient prep plan to help you break out of cooking ruts and add variety to your meals.

Each roll gives you 2 meats, 4 vegetables, 1 bean/legume, 1 grain, 2 fruits, and 1 sauce or marinade — a complete foundation to batch prep and build meals from all week long.

Suggested Additional Prep Items

Based on meal prep research, consider also prepping: Fresh Herbs (chop and freeze in oil for convenience) and Nuts/Seeds (toast in bulk for healthy toppings and snacking throughout the week).

How to Use

Click "Generate Prep Plan" to get a full weekly ingredient list. Use the individual reroll buttons (↻) to swap out specific categories while keeping the rest. Visit the options page to enable or disable specific ingredients to match what you like or have available.
